Opening Ceremony. Yes – we changed things up a bit! Sunday. August 11 will be our Opening Ceremony including our Roll Call, Convening and Wendy Lustbader will be joining us with Special Guests. The Opening Ceremony will be followed by our Welcome to Washington Reception with our Sponsors; we will feature a little laughs, fun photos and music!

The Penelope Project Documentary. We are pleased that the Project Director Anne Basting will be joining us to have a discussion after each viewing.
Positive Endings. Please join us for a presentation and discussion about positive end-of-life experiences, with Dori Gillam and Rebecca Crichton Both special events will be offered on Monday and Tuesday evening.

Being in Beautiful Bellevue, which is actually redundant, since Bellevue means Beautiful View. We are in the heart of this small city with amazing choices restaurants, shopping and wonderful outdoor parks to explore.

Thursday Hot Topic Sessions. Two 6-hours Sessions digging deep into two important topics. Environments Across the Aging Continuum with lead facilitator; Maggie Calkins and a team of amazing experts in this field. Hearing the Voice of Persons Living with Dementia with Megan Hannan and Sonya Barsness and Special Guests.

Learning Circles are back. We are taking extra time with our box lunches on Tuesday to have small-facilitated discussions with your fellow attendees. We have always found these to be a great learning experience as well as a good networking time.
