Brain Healthy Lifestyles include Nutrition, Physical Exercise, Spiritual Practices such as Meditation and Forgiveness. Keeping Mentally Active, Being Socially Engaged, Reducing Stress/Depression, Getting Enough Sleep, Having Creative Arts and Hobbies, as well as Having Meaning and Purpose in Your Life. Dr. Emerson Lombardo is an internationally recognized Brain Health expert and the author of a recent article on Lifestyles and Alzheimer’s Disease, published in the first ever Encyclopedia of Lifestyle Medicine and Health, and creator of the evidence-based Memory Preservation Nutrition program which emphasizes spices & herbs, fish and seafood, vegetables and other brain healthy plant foods. She is an Adjunct Research Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Boston University School of Medicine, Dept. of Neurology where her study on Nutritional Supplement Combination Therapy is just wrapping up. She is also President of HealthCare Insights, LLC and the Brain Health and Wellness Center based in Acton, MA.
