INGREDIENTS: AMOUNT:
Apple cider, preferably from the orchard! | 6 cups |
100% cranberry juice | 2 cups |
Cinnamon sticks | 2 |
Whole cloves | 8 |
Orange slices, thin | 8 orange slices |
Cinnamon, ground | 1 sprinkle per mug |
METHOD:
- 1. Combine all ingredients except orange slices in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Lower heat.
- 2. Cover and simmer for about 20 minutes.
- 3. Strain cider into 8 mugs. Garnish with orange slices & ground cinnamon. Optional: sprinkle cassias ground cinnamon onto the top of each serving.
