We suggest you put on your agenda the Alzheimer’s Disease International Conference for May 1-4 2014 in nearby Puerto Rico!

This is an unusual chance for Americans to attend at home (yes PR is still part of the US) and meet passionate caregivers, researchers, service providers and people with AD from all over the world.

There are over 70 member countries in ADI. We always feature a terrific research conference to hear the latest research including updates on our unique 1066 ADI research focused on the developing world.  We’ve already documented surprising results about prevalence and incidence rates, initial results of interventions, and much more to come. The 1066 ADI Research project is funded by NIH, WHO, ADI and individual countries with a lot of probono effort by the researchers themselves.  ADI meetings also feature a booth for each country you can visit, vendor tables, and good parties.  We work hard and don’t forget that we also need to have fun and play!

Extra Bonus: You’ll love the brain healthy dancing at the close of the major conference dinner.

Here is the photograph from the ADI 2014 conference home page.  But go to the ADI website (adi2014.0rg) to submit an abstract and/or register!

Abstracts are due October 31, 2013  Here is the link
